Davidson County Courthouse
As part of a full-scale restoration of this historic landmark, Hardaway Construction Corp. called on Stuart Dean to recreate the original look of the building’s architectural wood details. Stuart Dean performed a one-time restoration of the custom wood paneling present in the Davidson County Courthouse’s courtrooms.

The Grand Lux Cafe
The back of the house tile floor grout was being damaged by the daily harsh cleaners. Many areas the grout came loose and the subfloor was exposed.

Philadelphia Vietnam Veterans Memorial
Memorial is 20 years old and needed to be cleaned and stone impregnated to reduce staining. During inspection we noticed that the names were not readable and offered a solution to the problem. Also, the caretakers informed us that when it would rain the names on the wall would disappear. Stuart Dean suggested that the names be highlighted with a pearlescent paint to enhance the names to properly pay tribute to the fallen heroes.

Cooper University Hospital
Hospital expansion was completed December 2008. The expansion included 312,000 feet of hospital space in the 10-story patient Pavilion, 12 operating room suites, 60 private surgical rooms, 30-beds in Intensive Care Unit and 12,000 sq feet of additional emergency care space. The new expansion and improved amenities were geared toward creating a healing environment and a serene patient friendly environment.

Jones Lang LaSalle
The Jones Lang LaSalle commercial office building stands on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC, directly across the street from the White House. HIH Contracting hired Stuart Dean to perform façade and metal refinishing work on the building in 2006. Though this was a one-time job, HIH has partnered with Stuart Dean for over 15 years to restore and maintain buildings in the Washington, DC area.

Galleria Corporate Centre
Stuart Dean signed on as Galleria Corporate Centre’s ongoing metal and stone maintenance vendor in 2006. Stuart Dean has completed ornamental brass handrails located at the 2nd floor balconies. Stuart Dean is also responsible for a monthly stone maintenance program to keep the lobby floors throughout the building in a lustrous and pristine condition.

Bank of America
In 2006, Lincoln Harris hired Stuart Dean to restore and maintain the stone work in Bank of America’s corporate headquarters. Stuart Dean was tasked with restoring the marble floors of the Corporate Center and Founders Hall, as well as creating a regular program of maintenance to keep the stone in shape for years to come.

Chicago Board of Trade
Stuart Dean has performed monthly metal and stone maintenance services on the Chicago Board of Trade building since 1970. In 2006, Stuart Dean was asked to participate in a one-time, major renovation of the lobby.

South Station Bus Terminal
In 2005, Stuart Dean was contracted by the South Station Bus Terminal’s management firm, The Codman Company, to perform a one-time restoration of the building’s façade. Years of train exhaust had formed severe diesel deposits on fascia panels directly above train tracks. Though the panels had been treated with high-performance coating, they were past due for a major cleaning.

Nationwide
Nationwide’s goal was to complete a lobby restoration prior to its 2005 annual meeting. Stuart Dean was brought on to complete a one-time restoration of the lobby’s extensive elevator bank. Twenty-five sets of metal elevator doors, and other miscellaneous interior metal elements, required attention.
