
Thomas B. Brown
Thomas Brown is a partner at LGT Capital Partners (USA) Inc., where he is a senior member of the real estate practice. He focuses on setting investment strategy and making investments globally in primary funds, secondaries and co-Investments.
Prior to joining the firm, he co-founded Clerestory Capital Advisors in 2007, now part of LGT CP. Before that, Mr. Brown headed the global real estate practice of Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management, based in London. Earlier still, he was real estate investment banker for 12 years at J.P. Morgan in London, New York and Frankfurt. He began his career with Oak Tree Capital, Inc. in New Orleans, formerly a real estate asset management firm and a subsidiary of Oak Tree Capital Savings and Loan.
Mr. Brown holds a BA from the University of Mississippi. He is fluent in English and conversant in German. Thomas serves on the Management Board of the European Association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles (INREV) and also serves on the Editorial Board of Summit Journal, a publication of the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (AFIRE).
